Come along on Thursday 2nd October to St Georges and Priorslee Parish Centre, St Georges, Telford at 7.30pm to hear Kate Iles talk about the Lunar women.

The men of the eighteenth-century Lunar Society are well known, but what of the Lunar women?  Who were they and how important were they in the stories of their husbands and fathers?  In this talk, Kate Iles will look at the Lunar ladies, considering the role the Lunar wives played in the development of their husband’s businesses and philosophical thought.  Kate will examine the relationship between Lunar husbands and wives, fathers and daughters, recovering the history of the Lunar Ladies.

All welcome, but please note for Non-Members of the WHG there is a £2.50 charge. However if you become a member then there is no charge, for membership details see the Membership Information page.
